(Announcement)Speech : Building Sustainability Competencies in Design and Planning

We are honored to invite Dr. Yizhao Yang, Professor at the School of Planning, Public Policy and Management, University of Oregon, to share her research and practical experience in the field of sustainable design and planning.

Using a field course in the Galápagos Islands as a case study, this lecture will explore how to cultivate sustainability competencies within design and planning education. Dr. Yang will also highlight the vital role that interdisciplinary collaboration and field-based learning play in fostering a sustainability mindset.

We sincerely invite all faculty and students to attend this session and engage in a dialogue on the latest perspectives and practices in sustainable planning and design education.
